The German Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection presents interesting facts about its field of activity.

The number of students attending these lectures is almost six percent higher than in the winter term 2008/09.

There is a positive trend in new applications for Agriculture, Forestry and Food Sciences: 

In 2008/09 winter term, 7738 Students were enrolled in their first year, two years later it reached 8562 freshmen.

This is an increase of about eleven percent. Females constituted the majority with a share of 55 percent of total students.
