G20: Summit in Hamburg hosted by Germany

Germany is hosting a summit on July 7 - 8 in Hamburg for the Heads of State and Government of the major industrialised nations and G20 emerging economies. The motto of this year’s Summit is: building resilience, improving sustainability and assuming responsibility. During the Summit, a dinner for the G20 Foreign Ministers will also be held.

South African Photovoltaic Industry Association (SAPVIA) has launched the PV GreenCard, a quality certification mechanism based on the German PV Passport (“PV-Anlagenausweis”), on May 26 in Johannesburg. The development of the PV GreenCard was supported by the German Government under the South African German Energy Programme (SAGEN).
